Pako - Pako Handwerken

Pako is a family business , which produces embroidery kits and distributes related articles.

Company-history in short:

Jaap Lopes Cardozo started selling iron-on patterns from his attic in Amsterdam shortly after the war in 1946 and slowly enlarged business. In the years after the accent of his sales moved more and more to embroidery kits and related articles.

At the end of the 1970s the company moved from Amsterdam to Weesp, which provided a better suited building and better parking-and loading space.

A substantial part of our production is done by self-developed machines since the 1990s and from 1997 on we also focus on developing handy embroidery-tools like the needle- and floss-organiser.

Apart from our own designs in various embroidery-techniques, we also run a range in different license-designs and we also produce region bound kits with the client’s own logo and lay-out.
