Fiep Westendorp (1916-2004) is one of the Netherlands’ most beloved illustrators. She is known for ‘Jip en Janneke’,
‘Pluk van de Petteflet’ and ‘Floddertje’ (written by Annie M.G. Schmidt) and for the cats ‘Pim & Pom’
(written by Mies Bouhuys) – but Fiep was more than that. She was an artist with an unmistakable style: playful,
recognizable and timeless. Her work is graphically strong, full of movement and humor, and touches young and old.
